Craig Bellamy: "We're not boxers, we're footy players, and we've got to keep reminding ourselves of that. We're not too worried about getting bashed, believe me. We've got Michael Crocker."

Well, I'll openly admit to voting 'Yes'.

It was no coincidence that our play improved last year after Sharp left and Thorman and Brown reverted to their natural positions.

[He could also kick goals from the touchline!! ]

If i was to marry, i dont know if i ought to, if i would, if i should , i'd marry a Prop's daughter, she'd go down, i'd go down, we'd all go down together, we'd be alright in the middle of the night going down together!!

Voted No but purely based on the poor lad been played out of position most /all of the season.

I'm sure he'll do well for Hull if played in the Scrum Half position but his pace has now gone (no 6) and not the best at tackling (no 1).

Good Luck to the lad after Friday :D

I voted Yes. For the same reasons mentioned above.

He is a better and more creative half back than Brown and a better kicker than Hodgson.

I do accepet that he was released so Carney could come which was the RIGHT decision at the time .

With hindsight i wish we had kept him for one year .

Anyway it is all in the past now so good luck to him and i hope the fans give him a big cheer on Friday

He hasnt really had chance at the moment to show his pace, but i like the role he is playing from Scrum Half. He is giving Horne so much space and he has been really dangerous

I have always rated Chris and I voted YES as well.

His legs may not be as fast as they were but I reckon his brain is just as quick. I hope he has a stinker on Friday.

If London is Athens, Yorkshire is Sparta, a tougher community and proud of it.

I imagine he'll be keen to silence the critics from the last couple of season. I hope he has a stinker too, but he'll be getting a round of applause from me when he comes out in the B&W hoops.

FARTOWN FOREVER

FARTOWN LEGENDS - Danny, Eorl, Reilly, Stan and Wally

: Tue Mar 03, 2009 7:07 pm
We were stupid to let him go. To my mind he was one of the best British half backs in the game and yes we tended to play him out of position and although he wasn't as good there he was still ok and the fact that he did it without complaint showed how much of a professional he was. It will seem strange seeing him line up against us. Still he will get a round of applause from me too, a quality player and a good captain.
