Getting to Featherstone on Sunday : Wed May 06, 2009 11:24 am  

Hi everyone!

I'm trying to plan how to get from Huddersfield to Featherstone on Sunday for the 1.30 Wire vs Fev game, but it's proving a bit of a nightmare by public transport.

On the Transport Direct website, I'm being told to get a train to Denby Dale, then a bus to Wakefield, before a second bus to Featherstone...

Any suggestions?

It is far from a simple journey on a Sunday. My advice is to tap a lift!

Just get a bus to Wakey from Hudds. Then a bus to Pontefract from Wakey takes you right through Fev.
