Surely he must be coach of the year this year. Regardless of what happens in the latter stages of the season. What he has done with this team is nothing short of magnificent- or to use his own favourite word- outstanding.
To turn around the hurt and disappointment of the loss in the CC final two weeks ago and get the team playing as they have- with all the changes in personnel both weeks and the team running like clockwork and showing the resilience to get their heads down and work towards winning in the league.
He was ill yesterday so stayed away from the team in the later stages of the week so as not to pass anything on- testament to how he has got everything running- and to Luke Robinson- that the team still went out there and did the business, despite the issues during the game to require all the switches round in positions.
