I know the club is running at a loss and that the club needs all the money it can get, I decided to buy a season ticket this year.Okay it was only £99 but I thought the club would look after its season ticket holders in regards to saving money if you purchased a season ticket.Having a look at Groupon today I see that the club are selling tickets on there for the next three days for the Wakefield game.£2.50 for children and £7.50 for adults for one adult ticket, two tickets for £14, £25 for four tickets. All well and good but did not the RFL send out an email ticket offer last week saying that if you bought a full price ticket for the Wakefield game you could get into the Catalans game for a tenner?
Hardly encouraging people to sign up for season tickets for next year when you could buy a ticket per game and still end up saving money on a season ticket if you take the on the road games out of the equation.
I am hoping it will bring extra people in but so far only 22 people have bought the deal. They are probably Wakefield fans.
