2023 Pre-Season Friendlies - Championship Clubs With just over three weeks remaining to the start of the Betfred Championship season, our sides are scheduling the warm-up matches to make sure that they hit the ground running when the first whistle is blown as they look to get their season off to the best possible start. As it’s pretty much the same team as last year possibly not so much of a need for friendlies as opposed to last year when we desperately, desperately needed to get some team cohesion. (Spoilers it didn’t work). This year I’d suggest our primary aim must be to have 17 fit players for first few rounds of the Championship. In which case the less pre season games the better.
