We'll have that grannyfan woman on here telling us how he would never have developed as a player without all the input from Hull. just like she used to go on about LMS.

we didnt have a youth or reserve setup then though so it was different

Makes sense if he is at Uni up there that the club would want him to be playing and training in a professional set up so that his development continues and he is still at a good level when he fionishes uni.

If he gets a local girlfriend he's gone. As an ex Hull Uni lad myself I know how big a goldfish bowl Hull is for RL and I reckon he will like the attention he gets in the limelight. A Hull girlfriend plus the fact that we wont be paying him I guess leaves it wide open IMO to lose him,especially if its a long course

Whether his career takes off is not the point. We have developed him and we will have lost him just as he is getting to the time he is developing into a first team squad player.
Its a loss to us if he is a really promissing player. If its just a one year course then maybe not.
Is he definitely a player who has a bright future or are we all just hoping here. Havnt seen that much of him

If he is under 23 and we hold his registration then it would cost Hull a few quid to sign him.
If he want's to play RL, but is in Uni at Hull, it makes sense for us to loan him out rather than have him walk away from the game.
