Couple of things.
We recruited him from Elite 1, which is a strange shop window for us to be looking in as I would rate it as on par with our 3rd tier, although more Keighley than Cornwall. We know what 3rd rate players deliver.....just look at the table.
He's an Aussie of Italian heritage and has 2 caps so far, which according to RL Project, saw him played on the wing. The highlights reels available for him show him at 6/7, and his stats show he is not a first choice goal kicker. I'm going to assume we've signed him as a pivot, something that Chisholm showed we needed.
Underwhelmed by this signing. Back in the days when we signed a Dorn or a Moran, there was excitement about what these Aussies could add, but after hard blowing our own trumpet on development and coveyer-belts of talent, it's a shame that we go trawling the depths of french club RL for Australians on their BIG OE (overseas experience)....he has seen France and now we're paying him to see London....nice for him

My take on this is this: he hasn’t played a minute for us yet so I’m not going to put the knife in. I’m hoping he’s going to be good and that at least 3 similarly talented players join him. As is we are in strife so we need to roll the dice.
On that point I saw both Jones and Dixon on the touch line for the 1895. What a shame we didn’t retain them or replace them.
