I would be massively supportive if it was a tax dodge. That is exactly the kind of thinking outside of the box we need. Next we’ll be engaging with the local community.
Any way any one heard anything about the Gold Lounge? It’s all gone a bit quiet.

Only the one mention in the latest newsletter. Maybe have to unsubscribe if they don't pull their socks up.

Rubbish isn’t it. It’s literally been days since they banged on about it. The club’s gone.

I see that Jordan Abdul has gone out on a years loan to the Dragons. Pity he was not loaned to London.

I expect he wants to be in a winning team. In any event he's done the London thing so a year in Perpignan sounds good to me.

Embarrassing really. You would expect it maybe a non league football but not in a league where every game will be shown live.

On a side note, what will the away kit be?

JH has played Union for Northampton Saints, England U18, and Bedford Blues (over 50 appearances). He’s 6ft 2, roughly 110kg, and capable of scoring tries like this:

https://darkroom.northamptonsaints.co.u ... ford-1.jpg

As a Bedford fan, we were gutted to lose him, and felt that he could have made it as a Premiership player (front rowers in Union tend not to reach their peak until their late 20s/early 30s).

His move to League might not work out – the transition is a difficult one, and very unusual these days – but I’m not sure it’s fair to present his contract as an act of Yuletide nepotism.

Good luck to him and the rest of the Broncos this season!

Interesting and useful to hear this perspective. My take on looking at the training video snips was he looked a litte ‘leggy’ but then, in fairness, pre season is for sorting that kind of thing out. Hopefully he will be a useful acquisition.

I hope he goes well for us and regardless of familial relations, it feels like a somewhat astute pick-up and relatively low risk. At least he has the pedigree/experience of being in elite systems and I'm sure he'll work his hardest.

Maybe he goes as a short minutes interchange prop/back-rower?

League Express have announced Henry has left the club. Nothing from the club itself though, however it always felt likely.

Best of luck to the guy. Came in and did a job for us and was a nice guy to have a chat with. Nice way to round you career off too, if he does retire.
