The RFL will announce the rules as and when their paymasters, the SL chairmen, have decided the result. It may be paranoia, but Bongser is with Cokey on this one. Fev’s “face” seems to fit in SL, the ground standards minima were waived for them last time they were up. Leigh’s elected promotion came with a large financial handicap, the difference being back-pocketed by the rest.

Isn’t it time the RFL grew some………teeth that is, or at least bared its dentures. Anything other than advantage gained by a season of hard slog is nothing less than a travesty!

Don't think you will. Leigh has a more than decent team for this echelon, but they have switched-off moments.

In the season opener, Whitehaven scored their sole four-pointer against us when they were down to ten men.

The only team that Leigh have nilled this season is Dewsbury who had a try harshly chalked off for a forward pass. Bongser wasn't the only Leyther sitting very close and side-on to that that missed said infringement.

As it happens you are welcome to exactly six points as that is what Bongser has put on the Superleigh Predictor site.

Well, we were nilled and other than Bienek stretching for the line we didn't look close to scoring. Utterly disappointing and the speed the Broncos have gone downhill since 2019 even more so. I watched until the end really just to see how many points Leigh could put on us. Luckily Workington lost by a single point to Dewsbury today so at least we aren't bottom.

We needed Town to win, 2 go down, so the last thing we need is Dewsbury getting a gap between themselves and bottom 2. This makes next week critical.

I said it at the beginning of the season and I'll say it again. We lose next week, and I don't think we will finish the season out

What, if anything, does Bongser know? You should have scored and converted from Bienek’s charge for the line. Suppose shouldn’t complain about stout defence from the home side though.

Dewsbury should be an interesting game. At the risk of sounding patronising, Bongser’s seen a lot of positives from both teams. Your off-loading was repeatedly good (almost always), Dewsbury’s kicking game was a real threat.

He is/was. Dane Chisholm has had his 2-week spell in London. I'll bet he can't wait to get back to the coaching of Brian McDermott (and his newborn child). Geez.... I mean the Broncos can't even add his name to the jersey he wore today.

Difficult to know quite how good Leigh are because we really were poor but a good professional performance maintained to final whistle. You clearly have a number of strong players although not perhaps quite as good as we made them look. MPG and a trip to White Hart Lane awaits I suggest.
