Wakefield's forwards just kept rolling downfield all night long, giving Brough the time and space to kick us to death. Too big and too strong.

Broncos worked tirelessly, but in particular a mention for Battye who really ripped in. In truth, however, we never looked like winning. Morgan should have passed to Dixon, that much was clear to everyone in the ground, but to see that go begging and then Trinity to score almost immediately afterwards really killed us off.

Cracking turn out by the way, and in fine voice from first to last.

Batty was immense for you guys last night and I think he did the full 80, which is one hell of an effort for a prop, especially in a beaten side.
It was a great effort.
All of your side had a dig though but, I agree, that, this time our pack was on top from the first minute.
There is no pleasure taken from winning, other than SL survival and London have been a revelation this season.

In Ward, you have an excellent coach and hopefully you will be challenging for promotion next season.

Good luck !

A most enjoyable season when I was expecting it to be difficult viewing. Totally exceeded expectations and probably the best team effort that I've seen from a London side. A lot of credit has to go to Danny Ward for building a squad of players who would give everything for the cause. It is a shame to see players leaving especially those who have come up through the London ranks. It will be tough again in the Championship but hopefully we can retain the fantastic team spirit that has served us so well over the last couple of years.

I think what you've done at least in my view is cement 'London' as a real team. I know there were a fair few Aussies and Northerners but they weren't superstars and a lot of your team were local or as local as London can get. It just felt like we were playing a team rather than a bunch of mercenaries. How you turn that to your advantage I'm not sure but I hope you do.

Ideally we would start hanging on to the better talent we produce. There is a pretty decent SL team of London trained talent. I guess the budget is limited so other teams can offer more. The big issue is sustainability of the club as we rely on a single benefactor. I don't buy into the idea that there is no audience for RL in London but you do have to sell the game.

And therein lies the problem. We appear to have neither the money or the inclination to do that.
