Freedom for supporters of the government, only for members of one party - however numerous they may be - is no freedom at all. freedom is always and exclusively for one who thinks differently.

A real problem now is, regardless of the outcome of the current talks and negociations, how many people are going to bother supporting the club anyway. A large (if it's possible to use such a word about our support base) have probably now given up and walked away. As far as I can make out reading what's on here, as from next Tuesday the club will consist of a CEO, coach, kitman, half a dozen players, no ground and the website and Facebook page will be gone as the person responsible for maintaining it's getting the boot tomorrow! No worries, then.

Still no news. I can't say I'm shocked or even disappointed in the London Broncos, it is something I've come to expect from the circus in charge of the club and it seems that most on here aren't shocked either.

Everyone on here is against the ownership of the club and have suffered many broken promises. Why this forum as a group hasn't looked into forming their own side puzzles me. The chances are that club would be a Championship One club but it would a supporter owned club and that would be far better than being run by Hughes and watching a side with no (current) players and no staff.

If anyone is defecting to the Skolars, they will be more than welcome.

Doesn't it occur to you there are clearly reasons WHY what is happening is not being put in the public arena at the present moment?

Also i can assure you that many supporters like myself will call it a day if the Broncos go under. I have no interest in watching amateur RL.

I commend you for holding onto this hope but to me it seems like many, many times in the recent past of the BroncQuins when promises were made by the club and almost all were non existent. I wouldn't hold your breath for a quick outcome, it took the club long enough to change their name and have an announcement regarding that, it took them ages to say they were leaving the Stoop with no actual plan to what would happen next and now this.

Do you really think that Barnet is the best option for the club? They've had a manager for a year who hasn't earned a penny and who doesn't turn up for away games for a start. They're not the richest club or have the richest owners and that will reflect if the board at Barnet join the board at the Broncos. Any investment is welcomed but I can't see it changing anything at the club.

You may well not have an interest but many Broncos fans do watch Skolars now and I'm sure many would want to feed the bug of watching live Rugby League by watching Skolars occasionally. It was a tongue in cheek comment by the way.

I'm also like Snoopy, I also believe there is a lot of hard and difficult work being done behind the scenes to ensure the London Broncos continue, nothing happens overnight, and as I keep saying it may come down to the RFL AGM which comes up in around 10 days time

No one is saying that Barnet is the ideal option, but what is the perfect venue and area for us to be based in London? Who is the ideal backer? Khan is soon getting out at Bradford, if success does not come his way how long will Dr Koukash stay in the game. Very few investors are in it for the good of the game, those days are way gone, when a local businessman was a director, especially in football.

If the Broncos do go under then that is it with rugby league for me, yes I may watch it on TV, but no longer follow a club or spend the money I do at present putting it into the game I was born into. If many London Broncos fans have turned to the Skolars, that must mean they have lost fans as attendances do not increase that much.

The club announced many months ago it would leave the Stoop and has had many months to put arrangements in place. At no stage have the club engaged the fans in this process. We have no ground, no players and very few fans. If anything does come out of this process I hope it is with new management as the current CEO has been an abject failure.

I'm sure that there's stuff going on and that much of it is subject to commercial confidence and so cannot be publicised. But that does not justify more than 3 weeks of total silence.

A weekly news item assuring us that negotiations are continuing, possibly with some indication of a likely date for a conclusion, is the least that can be expected. No doubt some on here would then complain that no new information had been provided. But at least a weekly no-news would convey the information that the club is alive and working towards a future and is aware that some supporters are still interested..

Yes we know, but did we not search first at various grounds, before it was clear that the club was most likely going to be sold, and that it had to be debt free. Discussions like that just don't happen overnight, look what buying a house is like, you say yes, and then with legal people involved it can take at least a few months, and there are no staff involved with a purchase like that and clearing debts first. Then finally the RFL!
