Hello everyone!

Just a quick message to say hello for the first time and ask you guys some questions that hopefully you'll be able to help me with. I'm actually a life-long Wires fan, but I've living in the south since I moved to Uni and have been in London for the past 6 months or so.

I went to see Harelquins thrash Wire a few weeks back and although I was obviously gutted, I was pretty impressed by the stoop, by the players, and by the fans. I'd been incredibly starved of the greatest game- I still can't believe there are other people in this football and RU dominated city who share my passion.

I went to the Hull game last night, probably my first time at a non-Warrington league match. Was really impressed with the Quins- a tough, slog, of a game but a great performace, especially after last weeks game at Huddersfield.

So anyway, just had a few questions, dunno if anyone can answer them for me.
1. Do the fans (or the club) organize any coach trips to away games? Would love to go and support the club away from the capital, especially as the lads could do with a bit of encouragement away from home. I have heard about the Celtic coach trip and would be interested if there are any spare seats.
2. What's the deal with seating? I know there are different priced tickets, but from what I can see, most people just sit where they want. I was given a seat next to a bunch of Hull fans last time, which obviously I did'nt fancy in my Wires jersey! Also, would it be worth investing in a season ticket?
3. Anyone know of any good blogs to do with London Rugby League? My google searches have come up with a few but most arn't that up to date. I've just started my own, but I'm only going to start promoting it when it's up to standard.

Also, any other Wire fans based in London who would be interested in watching the next Sky game over a pint? I drag the missus along normally but she has no interest in 'big men hugging each other'.

im also a wire fan and i too went to that shocker of a game

i live in barnet and been down here 7 years now

there are a few ex northern lads.

I myself am considering adopting the Quins

Would be interesting if the mods could put a poll up of all ex-pats 'other' team.

I bet Wire would probably top the lot.

Welcome to the Quins Kensalgreen, i hope you have some good times at the Stoop in your time down here.

As for away games or the Celtic game at least, best person i think you can PM is Gutterfax(im sure he wont mind me throwing his name around on this ), as i think hes the one behind arranging a coach to the Valleys.

As for seating,dont get everyone started on that subject again , there is meant to be a Quins side and away side to the East Stand but looks like it aint working.
But if you want to sit with the guys who do most the way games or the shouting (depends if your not shy of course), then you need to chat with someone from the Loud and Proud Crew, who im sure will let you know who they are via a PM on here.

Can I suggest a QRL meet-up before a game.

I know many of the members on here already know each other but getting to know more people would be nice.

For example before the Hull KR game on the 19th April.

I'd be up for that Bat. I used to just turn up watch the game and go home til we had a meet a few years back. Now I can't shrug some of the gits off

It's always nice to have people you can chat to in the bar before/during/after

No worries, was quite funny actually, there was some guy sat in front of me who started having a somewhat 'heated debate' with one of the Hull fans. This drunken bloke slurred 'poop ground, no fans' and the Harlequins fan replied 'go back to your council house'. The Hull fan sounded like a cross between the kid from Kes and the Elephant Man. Haha, I suppose having all the fans in one stand must result in some good banter!

I'll be down for the challenge cup game, looking forward to it
