I do not know if any of you have been in the clubs hospitality, this season. I certainly have not. My experience last season was not that good and I swore not to go again. The food was poor, desert was a bar of chocolate, you did get a voucher for a drink and a program. Thirty pound for that.
I see that the club are promoting hospitality for the St Helens game. I noticed that the person closest to the camera has his meal untouched, on the plate in front of him. A pie, mash potato and some peas. Not very appetizing. For fifty pounds.
Why the club put that very picture up, I cannot understand. Yet again they are shooting themselves in the foot.

The food is much better in hospitality this year there is a different meal each game, and to date all of the meals have been good. The bar of chocolate is gone you now get a pudding, the down side is you do not get a free drink this season.

JESUS WEPT :WALL: HOW MANY TIMES?????
£20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000.
The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.

There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them. :BEAT:

Nothing like playing to a stereotype is there :DEPRESSED:

A friend of mine's daughter was married last year and had her reception at Trailfinders. They reckon the food and service was spot on and they budgeted for £37.50 a head including a half bottle of wine based on 65 guests eating 3 courses

Corporate hospitality should be about an upmarket offering........I had a smoked salmon starter, beef fillet with creamed mash and asparagus, followed by a tiramisu, coffee, a Program and a free bar recently at a Union match in Wellington. The cost to my host was $110 (£55) a head based on a table of 9, with the 10th spot taken by a member of the All Blacks coaching Team, Ian Foster, who is earmarked to take the reins in 2020.....we were made to feel welcome and the lounge we were in post match the players from both sides came in and mingled.....you felt it was an occasion. I get the impression that Hospo at the Broncos is nothing like that.

Last year when we went into hospitality, it was. Pie, mash and peas. A bar of chocolate. A program and a drink. Oh I forgot, we also got a team sheet. Not much for thirty quid.

Hospitality (noun) - the friendly and generous reception and entertainment of guests, visitors, or strangers.

What you actually experienced was someone taking the mickey.

Why go on about last season it has changed this season as you know because you were in hospitality at the last home game.

This season is a completely different ball game and CMG you cannot pass comment when you dont partake or know what you are talking about. The food this year is from a very varied menu and has been of a good standard and wonderful desserts. Players on each table, programme and chat by NR with players and sponsors. Considering the price this year it is money well spent it also includes car parking and programme - plus a team sheet but unfortunatley no drink voucher

Not much? So for £10 more than a normal ticket you got a meal, a bar of chocolate, a programme, a drink and a guaranteed seat in one of the best vantage points in the ground?

Maybe you should have saved the tenner and brought a packed lunch and ate it up on the top of the media scaffolding?

Bosty, I would rather have a picture knowing what you were going to get than summat different. But if its advertised as 2 courses I certainly would not be happy with a bar of chocolate.
As for the picture you could look at it a couple of ways, the rest of the 0lates look to have been cleared so someone enjoyed it
