Difference is I was talking about effect on the whole game? I am not interested in knocking DH at every chance.
And when have I ever said that DH has spent wisely?
Problem with what's happening with toronto is it cannot be matched elsewhere, clubs going bust trying to match it is not expansion!

But my point was he is not spending beyond his means. How its spent or who he spends it on i have never commented on.
Try getting g away from the fixation on DH.
Simple question is spending 2.5 million a year on one players wages worth it? Will it generate any extra interest in the game as a whole or will it result in clubs overspending?

What "fixation"? He invests money, without which, we would have no club. My fixation isn't with him per-say, but more about how his 2 bills are wasted each year on stuff that in the greater scheme, have done us little if any good.
Hughes bankrolls us because he can, but at no stage has employed anyone other than yesmen into rolls that they were either unqualified for or roles that were beyond their capabilities. Danny Ward was a lucky find and for every DW, I'll counter with 3 Gus's, Joey whatever his name was or Powell's....that's my gripe, not the man himself.
