I despair of the Broncos at times. On the field & youth development work are great but sometimes I wonder if they are actively discouraging people to turn up at Ealing.

£25 to watch (often part-time) second tier rugby league at a glorified training ground is absurd.

They (the Saracens management) cheated, rather like Melbourne Storm and deserved massive deductions 10 years ago. Pay yer £££ and support the boys.

Most of us on this forum do. It's not us the club really need to worry about. It's what those they are trying to attract for the first time or those they are trying to convert to more regular visitors think.

£25 isn't an issue in itself. If there is a thought out plan to attract people thought the gate with offers etc, Work with the community, become community focused, hook them in and then sell lots of cheap season tickets, I would get where they are coming from. Hopefully we'll see evidence of that plan soon.

If we are relying on people blundering through the turnstiles for the first time off their own back and splashing out knocking £100 for 2 adults and 2 teens, before travel, proggie, good etc, I think we may have a slightly flawed strategy.

That's completely irrelevant. What the fans have seen is a great team playing top class rugby unlike what we are going to get at the Broncos

Irreverent my booty. Saracens (management) cheated and the only reason they won so many titles thus attracting fans/money from behind their rope fenced field. London Broncos need to win something other than the MPG to gain support from outside existing RL fans.

A load of moaning. Saracens top ticket price is £79 down to £30 for the cheapest ground pass & they're (or will be), in the RU Championship in a few months. Pay your £25 or better still buy a £125 season ticket and support the club instead of groaning.

I started the thread and I'm one of many potential away fans somewhat aggrieved at being asked to pay £25 to watch second tier RL on a ground which is at best third tier, especially from a viewing point of view.

There is no need to stand on the edges. Has everyone forgotten the massive shiny brand new 1000+ seat enclosure built last year? Anyone can sit in it for the walk-in price. AS an aside, I'd love to know if the bar/bogs/shop underneath has been completed.

Stop talking about that 1000 seat stand right now. It's never going to be built, the locals will never allow it, there is no planning permission, it's not there, it's a figment of the imagination.
That's meant as a joke by the way.
As for ticket price, it is what it is, yep its top end but not most expensive in the league. Maybe dropping the price to a flat rate of £10 or £15
Would it make any difference to numbers through the gate, personally I dont think so

And there lies the problem. People in London are not staying away for the sake of £10. They are staying away because they don't care about a Northern sport that they occasionally like to watch on TV but have zero interest in attending.

The club would lose somewhere in the region of £5000 per game at a guess if they knocked £10 off around 500 ticket buying fans.

I'm not convinced there are 334 people who would jump at the chance of coming if it was £10 cheaper to make it a successful plan.

You would be amazed at how many people from all walks try and get free tickets from the club with a variety of excuses and reasons. I know some personally through business. They do not come unless they are on a free ticket. There are also fans who ask on facebook if anyone is not using their season ticket to avoid having to pay, something I had my say about and was shot down by those asking for the tickets but in my opinion it is not on. I know an ex player that could come for free but pays because he understands that is the only way he can still support the club now.

The club needs ticket money, desperately, it is their second biggest income source after central funding (excluding DH) and people are getting good value most weeks. It is a bit on the steep side compared to other clubs in the Championship however it is an expensive part of the Country generally.
