The thing is....and I know I'll get screamed down for saying this, Mac really didn't achieve anything with us and again at Oldham he didn't managed to save them.
At Toronto he oversaw a Superleague side in a lower division and then lost all their SL games......he went to Leeds as a 2nd, got promoted early and it was only when the senior players at Leeds started doing their own thing, did the Rhinos do well......he's bang average in my opinion......I've nothing but respect for the man, but I could have coached that Leeds outfit to a few titles.....in superleague, I believe he has a sub 50% win ratio with Quins, Leeds and Toronto, whilst Tony Smith has a 62% win rate as does Brian Noble.
I really don't think he's the guy to guide Featherstone to Superleague.
