Thought it might be handy a have a thread just for IMG posts so they're all in 1 place.

Must confess I fail to understand how IMG came up with the set of metrics that they did. Why 3 years? As I posted elsewhere, 5 should have been the bare minimum as nothing special about 3 other than to protect existing Super League teams on the performance front. I think you could make an argument for 10 years or even to look at the whole SL period.obviously the longer the period they looked at, the better for Broncos it becomes.

Very few if any Championship clubs can compete on things like turnover unless they had some sort of weighting system based on division in. You can't compare crowds without some sort of weighting either between SL & Championship. As for our catchment area being the People's Republic of Merton, we'll you couldn't make that up.

Not rewarding those clubs generating academy players as opposed to social media activity is quite bizarre too. No doubt any system that potentially put a few SL teams at risk would never have got off the ground.

What would be nice is some transparency & have all the scores metric by metric published. Then sit back as clubs take issue with other club's ratings.
