Considering he'll turn 30 less than 18 months into his deal, is that wise?

I'm guessing with a two year deal he would have wanted more money but with the security of being there for 4 years maybe they are not paying him quite as much.

Idris is a good signing for Gold Coast.

I think Wigan realise that with Maguires sucess with this side will bring the vultures after his signature. That's why Wigan have tide alot of the youngsters down with new deals.

Maguire on his way to Souths and Shaun Mcrae (sp) to be announced as the new Wigan Coach for 2012 next week.

I've been told McRae will be announced Thursday morning at 7 o'clock. Lenaghan has offered him just the 8 year contract, although all players and staff will be asked to grow a moustache and put on six stone to help Shaun fit in.
