One small comment. I suspect his critique of 'rugby' refers to his experience of watching union. I'm sure if someone brought him along to a good Saints - Wigan game he'd change his mind.

I thought it was a really funny show and good natured. Brought back some memories of living in Standish / days in Wigan over a couple of years in the 80's. And I'm still doing my bit to keep Uncle Joe's in business!
It was great. The union penalty stuff annoyed me but even if he didn't get the technical differences of the game he understood the social differences of the community to the yawnion n00bs.
