Anyone leaving it for South Stand tickets for Good Friday would be advised to either order online tonight or buy from the ticket office first thing tomorrow morning as there are less than 200 left. http://www.wiganwarriors.com/WContent.a ... 040&type=1Ticket sales for next Friday's huge Easter derby fixture between Wigan Warriors and St Helens at the DW Stadium have today smashed the 17,500 mark.
The last Good Friday meeting between the two sides in Wigan saw a last gasp Liam Farrell try clinch pulsating victory for the Warriors in front of a capacity crowd. Cherry and White fans - hoping for a repeat result - have been snapping up tickets for this year's extraordinary Easter clash, with less than 200 tickets remaining in the South Stand. 3 additional tickets just ordered.  |

Why dont they make it allocated seating in the South and give season ticket holders first option for games they know will push the stadium to its capacity?

I hope they don't do this as me and my mate are season ticket holders but we'll regularly bring 5 or so friends to big games. If the seats were allocated we wouldn't be able to do that. Plus you would be annoyed if your season ticket was on the top row and you couldn't get a good seat even if you came early. How many games hit capacity anyway? One every 3 seasons?

The Wigan Council ticket offer should help to boost sales - £10 per ticket in the East stand. Not sure if other organisations have been given discounts too.

South Stand looks to have sold out now with a lot of tickets shifted in other areas of the ground in the last few days. Will probably sell out if Saints bring their usual following.

Not sure if other organisations have been given discounts too. Cannot believe the club have allowed discounted tickets for this game. Good Friday is traditionally close to capacity at normal prices.
