Trent was an inspired signing and people are now starting to knock him cause he left early! I sometimes really wonder why Wigan fans are so fickle? Trent was idolised by 99% of the Wigan fans whilst he was here and cause he left early people are starting to spout crap about him saying he wasn’t even that good! You can’t help but laugh



Like it or not Trent carried this team for two seasons and without him I really doubt people like Noble would be still employed at Wigan. I’d have him back In a heart beat

if you think Noble would drop Tommy for Sam T, they you are a fool, the Trent and Sam combo was never an option, for the aforementioned reason and also because they are both stand offs

Matt Le Tissier stands out in football, what a quality player yet I dont think he won anything.

Barrett looked a little over weight. Must of slipped into the Aussie drinking culture nicely.

Trent was a great signing for us, robbed of MOS in 2007



Many fans have slated him and think that he abandoned us, he put his family first and you have to respect him for that (not one person wouldn't do what he did)



Some people also criticise his form in 2008 yet he still carried us and is the main reason we had another good run at the end of the season



He carried us for 2 years, always tried his hardest and got us out the more times than I can count



I would have him back in a heartbeat and would just like to thank him for all he did for Wigan

Given the way they seem to be cleaning up the play the ball in Australia, i think he will be a sensation in the NRL, the 2 ref system is a great introduction of the first 2 games of the season shown on Setanta. Unless we add it soon they gap between us and them is going to get much much wider than it already is very quickly.
