Sadly it looks like Setanta are dropping Friday Night Football for the next 2 months and only offering the Saturday 8:30am game!

There schedules are often erratic and change at short notice but Aussie Rules seems to be on next Friday Morning.

Yeah he does look like he has put too much weight on, Im sure the commentators said something along the lines of him putting around 6kg on in the off season which is silly for somone like him who has got pace and skill to burn. He looked fat and lazy today. I would love us to sign Slater he is immense, I would pay him a million a year and play the academy side with him .

Also I like Joel Clinton, I wouldnt mind us signing him either.

Passed a late fitness test on knee and shoulder injuries and has put on 6kg during pre-season.

Indeed. This said, the Storm had 2 or 3 really good chances to win it at the end but they messed up a couple of plays.

The whole point of the lads success was his athletic ability, looks to be carrying some bad weight and his legs look totally out of proportion to his slightly out of shape upper body.

Was personally shocked to see him in such condition.

Me thinks it is muscle more than fat.
