Wasn't the salary cap and Super League all about spreading the talent around to make it more competitive?

Better get Leeds to give Peacock back to Bradford then! Our two currently most successful teams have never been afraid to go for transfers. Saints success in the salary cap era is basically based on nothing else!

standard of SL is a bit different to international. we've seen what happens to leeds/saints players when they face the kiwis or ausies.

yes.

if he is out of contract, and under age 21, the rules are:

"A sum equivalent to the sum of £100 per week of training and education invested in the Player and a further lump sum of £5,000 if the Player attains 20/25 status.

In all cases training and education is deemed to start from the date on which the Player signs a professional contract with the club and end on 30 November after the Player reaches the age of 21 and to last for forty eight weeks each year."

Cannot work out if this post is off topic or on it, but I have heard Stephen Myler is being linked with a move back to League as a long term replacement for Sean Long.

He does seem to have matured very well in union, good pass and kicking game and his one on one defence has improved also.
