The Communist Cap - dragging down success and aspiration to the levels of those who cba.

Was not at the game, but every report i have heard thus far has been very critical of another poor performance.

i do not understand the mentality of being happy to follow a 4 week team, if we make the 8 as we are realistically looking at 10th at the moment, which is not good enough with this squad.

You play to the rules.

The rules currently mean that form at this part of the season means zip.

Personally, I don't like it, but hey, you would be a fool not to play to the rules.

Better to finish 8th on the back of some form, than finish 3rd and be on a downward spiral.

Are you confident we will finish in the 8? We are 9th with Bradford 2 games in hand and a Wire who will improve under Smith behind us. On our form we will not make the 8 from what i have seen thus far in 09.

Yeah very confident of top 8.

Nobby's teams always finish stronger than they start, and even with this in mind we are only 9th. Even if Bradford win their (THREE) games in hand, I can't see us NOT finishing in the top 8.

Can you?

Huddersfield just did the basics right (most of the time) and took their chances.

For Wigan it was a typical performance of the last few seasons. Dropped ball, too many silly penalties, no leadership and a beaten pack.

We simply aren't good enough, too many players who aren't good enough and an average coach.

The pack isn't up to it and hasn't been for a while now. Can't attach any blame to the backs when they are constantly playing behind a weak pack, we can't rely on Trent to pull a rabbit out the hat anymore. It says something when your best prop on the night is a 'kid'

On form yes. Unless we can play teams that play a flat attack against us and are coached by Noble disciples every week.

Did not see the game tonight as i said but sounds like another dire performance.

Whatever happened to Billy McGinty's pineapple?

Totally agree and would add that at the final whistle there was very few fans left in the ground pathetic.

Fair enough, but that was not the question.

Do you think that Wigan will finish in the top 8. Yes or No?

As i said on current form no.

At the end of the year we may scrape in, and put a run together which in the grand scheme of thing will mean nothing and paper over the cracks of another gash season as we will still be lightyears behind the front runners, still if that pleases you fair enough.
