I fully agree with you, it's embarrassing how bad we are, not even average. Our attacking play is less than clueless and has been for a long time now. Not just recently with the injuries, going back to midway through last season. Once we get some players back we will either turn it round, or Wane will run out of excuses.

Clearly.

Our minus points difference and total reliance on individual players to come up with big plays ie Bateman to win us games rather than team work clearly shows just how great we are in this respect.

It is actually worse than when we were coached by Noble.

Are you watching the game on sky? If so, did you notice the shot of O'Loughlin, Farrell and the Tomkins brothers sat in the stands? When players like that are all on the field instead of being crocked, that will be the time to judge.

We're taking a battering off wire tonight but in the grand scheme of things it's just 2 points lost.

As I said a BASIC skill of the game is running onto the ball at pace.

66 minutes we pass to nobody from a penalty. 73 minutes Gelling runs onto the ball so ridiculously flat he loses contact gets driven back over the line. Simple BASIC plays.

You can gob off call me names, accuse me of being clueless, blame Wigan flue, injuries etc etc etc but there is simply no excuse for professional players being unable to pass a ball with accuracy and hit the ball at pace.

I actually see your point and although we've got so many players out on the sidelines my concern is that we have played in the exact same way for a number of years now. The same structure with the same set plays in attack , and whilst the likes of tomkins...lockers etc can pull it off better than the more inexperienced youngsters, we have no plan B. We haven't had a plan b for a long time.

At the moment I don't know whether to blame our attack on the lack of players or just simply down to the fact that we are having the skill factor coached out of us to just be replaced with the same structures and aggression that teams have learnt to cope with.

I hope in the long run when players return we get proven wrong and they start to put some good attacking plays in but at the moment it's all very lacklustre and I feel that the players we have on the field should still be atleast some sort of threat in attack.

77 minutes ball to ground off a bad pass followed by a forward pass from Mossop straight to Wire. Try. Basic basic errors.

We really are the dumbest team in the league who rely on individuals over and over again to get us a result.

Any player who plays at SL level should be able to run onto a ball at pace. It has nothing to do with age. It is a basic skill a core skill of the game.

We seem totally incapable of doing it at times and when we do it is "the move" which is so predictable it is cringeworthy.

We could win 100 nil and you would still find something to moan about. Warrington have done to us what we did to Leeds earlier in the season. We got through so much work in the first 20 - 30 mins there wasn't a lot left in the tank. We are still missing Tomkins x2, Manfredi, MM, Flower, Farrell & SOL. It's also Williams' first game for a couple of months so he's a long way of fully fit. Powell looks shot and in desperate need of a rest and we have an academy second rower starting at #6.

We are playing away against top of the league who played very well and got the bounce of the ball too. Just look at the facts and the reality. When we've had somewhere near a few weeks and they are nearing match fitness then I'll judge the side. If we are still playing like this then I'll worry about it.

I happen to agree with you. Regardless of who plays and the results. The passing in particular and the shape or attack is awful. Stood still - and the passes aren't even accurate. I could forgive it if we were taking the line on and moving at speed, but we aren't.

If they're good enough to play first grade rugby for whatever team, basic skills should be bang on.

Keep burying your head. Our skill level and structures are terrible regardless of who we have fit.

I agree with John 110%

Poor coach, young players look way out thier depth.

Time to get rid.
