It’s a game wide list issued by the RFL that League Express have got hold of. Observer have just focussed on the Wigan players.

It’s always looked like a struggle for him getting his body around the field but not quite the struggle it looks this season. Maybe he has just decided he’s put himself through enough punishment. He’s had some shocking injury problems and health concerns to deal with. I’ll always respect the bloke for his efforts at Wigan. He’s certainly not been a Tautai or Navarette but time catches up with you.

I thought that Clubb was offered a new contract not long after SW resigned. I know that Cas approached him for a possible deal but he didn't the hassle of the travelling.
I assume that he has signed a new deal.

I feel for Clubb in some respects, yes he ought to be let go but I don’t think anyone can turn round and say he hasn’t put one hell of a shift in for us during his time here. It’s just unfortunate that he isn’t good enough anymore.

All he’s done for the past 12 months is run in to try and smash someone and miss by a mile, act hard staring at all the opposition players and do 10 mins a game. Not enough by a long chalk.

I guess it depends on what his game is. Having no pace never seemed to hurt Deacon. I don't think JT or Johns had bags of speed too.

Having said that, the argument of running Vs controling HB's is one of the things that has irritated me about Sam Tomkins move from 6. You can't argue that he's not had a stellar career at FB, but i can't help but think - what if he'd stayed at 6. He had pace, vision, he could run and pass & he developed a decent kicking game too. British HBs like that only come through once a generation Long & Greg spring to mind as really top draw players. I could probably name about 10 FBs in that same period tho.
