I think coming up to the 65th minute the game was anybodies to take. Infact hadn't we scored 2 tries to your one by this point? The fact is we could have won this game. I'm not saying we should have because Huddersfield are a vastly improving team this year and I believe will do well.

As for the ref...he did make a few shocking decisions throughout but I refuse to blame him for the loss. If we'd have played better or at least with a bit or direction and motivation [Did anyone see when fielden came off the bench in the second half just before a Wigan scrum? He ran straight to the scrum and told everyone to pack down to stop the clock - why don't we see the same sort of enthusiasm from the other forwards] we would have won last night.

So disallowing perfect tries has no effect on the game. It was a close game and would have been won by Wigan if the referee had been capable.
Wigan were the better team, scoring 2 tries from excellent passing movements while Huddersfield played 5 drives and a kick (which Wigan tried against Wakefield but it didn't work).
