Think talk of Smith staying is irrelevant all signs point to him returning hope at the end of the season, plus for me the guy blows eitheir really hot or really cold and we cant afford someone like that in such a pivotal position. Also if Gleeson were to get injured Smith would once again get heavily exposed in defence something we cant afford to happen, we all remember earlier in the season his defensive frailty's.

Beast of a player in his time. He has been a bit quiet this year from what i have been told. saying that o have our other "reported" targets ie O'meely and Webb.

I dont think Cayless would be massively expensive either. Could be worth a punt because he is defo a no nonsense prop who is a true leader.

Never been that big a fan of his brother though as a player. Just not to my taste i suppose.

I always think that Kiwis are never as expensive as there Aussie counterparts, must be to do with playing origin that bumps up the price.
