I assume this Hardaker story is just a pipe dream. I'd be delighted but I can't see it happening. I also don't see why Leeds would want Briscoe unless either Watkins, Hardaker or Hall were off to the NRL.

Peacock let that one slip a few weeks back when he made his statement to the media about super league reform. As clear an indication as there needs to be when it comes from one of his team mates

That would be one in the eye for Hetherington's much-lauded 'salary structure so well balanced that no-one wants to leave' theorists.

That said, I'd be sorry to see the lad go. As I'm sorry to see any of our players go, whoever they play for.
