Usually niggly joint and muscle injuries can be reduced if a good conditioner gets hold of him and he works hard enough. Most clubs with sports science etc will have the body fat percentage ratios and all that kind of stuff to help decide where problems could be coming from.
If thats the sort of injuries he has been having he is definatley worth the risk imo. With a bit of close attention and hard work/discipline etc on the niggles they could quite easily clear up with a bit of luck.
I would be suprised if Saints let him go though unless he is dead set on leaving.
