Might be resolved, sadly, if French's injury is long term and he's out for the season. By all rumours he's on a fair wedge so if he was released (with a pay off) then that would make money available for GW. I don't know how the SC works regarding allocation. If George were to sign now then would 6 months salary count on the cap as 6 months has been taken on the Raiders cap, or does a full 12 months count?

As for him fitting in then I agree with as has been said, Hastings to 13 and George to 6.

Watching tonights episode of NRL 360. They are slating Williams for not manning up. Kenty is saying he is back to you guys as Hastings is going to the Tigers. Hooper has said its not done and us and Leeds are in the hunt.

I'm not sure on how Canberra are treating this, on the surface it seems like Canberra dont give two you know whats. However it is suggested that Williams isnt helping himself.

I'd be surprised if he hasnt got something lined up for next season already whoever it is.

Yes, along with the fact that neither him nor his missus have been able to see family members for over a year due to Covid.

Where can you watch that? I sometimes see clips on Youtube but not sure where the full episodes are screened. They're very sensationalist but its fun to watch.

George is in the driving seat for 2021, but this will certainly have knocked him. He's basically unemployed for the next 9 months.

The blokes on that programme are a joke, in fact the whole coverage of the game over there seems classless. They just seem to have free reign to say what they want.

We hopefully see Williams back here but even if it’s elsewhere, it hopefully benefits all clubs in the longer run because the way guys like Williams and Bateman have been treated in the media over there should be a warning to any lad thinking of going over. They’re going from a low key, un-intrusive environment here, to a country where they have a Premier league style focus on them and the media seem to have no accountability for the claims they make.

I bought the NRL season Pass so i can watch it. They have just responded to the tweet by Williams which said he has not signed the release papers. Basically they are saying that the info from there sources at the club say Williams has signed the release and putting it all on him. Williams says he hasnt. Who knows.....

It must be hard for a RL player moving to Aus and having that Premier League footballer media scrutiny 24/7.

I watched one recently. Not sure what its called , but its like what we used to have for football called sunday supplement.

It was basically 4 journalists discussing rugby league and all they did for an hour was shout at each other and over each other. It was utterly shambolic
