Go bury your nuts... If i could block you i would...
Notice the wink, that makes all ok.....
Well that would depend on how paranoid the person on the receiving and of the emoticon was.
I don't like them much myself and rarely use them as I have this blind faith that people take things as read rather than take things out of context. I thought you might do that hence the wink. Looks like it failed. Oh well.

aboveusonlypie... If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.

I did not take too kindly to you suggesting that i meant other than i said, It just shows your arrogance... again. Just because you are a moderator does not give you carte blanche to suggest others don't know what they think, or as you suggested, are lying.

I think it's part and parcel of being opinionated on forums that you are prepared to completely dismiss some people's views, accusing them of making stuff up, even telling lies and such, but are immediately ready to accept other people's hearsay on the basis that it suits your own mindset.
How far in the future? When we sign 21 year olds like Taylor and other young players like Hopkins it's going to be some time before they work their way through and out the other side. Then of course we can and do sign players like Paddy, Smith and Powell at the opposite end of the spectrum. I'd hope we never stopped going for players like Paddy if we can afford them.
I think we'd be very fortunate to be able to put a team together of the required quality entirely from the junior ranks at Wigan. We might have to if there is no chance of getting any star players to sign for us (and I don't just mean Aussies or Kiwi's) due to a player drain to the NRL but that is a bit different than producing players good enough in every position ourselves.
I think within 2 or 3 years (if, as I said, we can avoid losing any more to the NRL or wherever). By then we'll be in a position to replace Green & Smith with 2 of Powell, Williams & Hampshire. We have enough forwards, so that really only leaves Paddy's replacement to find (Gelling as a stopgap until the impressive Joe Burgess comes through?). so, by 2015/16, something like:
Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions

I suggested no such thing.
You respond to a post about Hull signing Paea with "Nice that we are developing our own...".
It was quite reasonable on my part to point out we didn't develop four of our props but signed them.
If you want to contend "Nice that we are developing our own..." means we are developing Taylor and the rest of the players we signed and that somehow makes us better than Hull for signing Paea feel free but I would say you would be wrong. We might improve them but we didn't develop them. Their amateur sides and academies did that and none of them were in Wigan's.
I remember we made Billy McGinty a better player than he was at Warrington. We didn't develop him either.

Just because I am a moderator? There is only one suggestion I have for you if you think I post anything because I am a moderator - grow up! It's a childish thing to suggest.
At the end of the day we may be arguing semantics of develop or improve but might I suggest you are a little less sensitive? And for the record I never post as I do because being a mod incurs some sort of status. Which it doesn't anyway.

We could field that side now and while I know you aren't suggesting we do I don't think we will down the line either. I think (and hope) Taylor will be a mainstay of the pack for some years and we have just signed Hopkins who is also a young player who will be around for a bit. We may keep Gelling also. Flower and Dudson are also quite young and could be here then.
I think you are right about the half backs. I posted a short time ago that I thought the fact Green (and maybe Smith) was on a relatively short contract would allow our younger players to progress.
I'd still like to think even with all those Wigan players around the club wouldn't set out to make an all Wigan team deliberately as some sort of plan. If it turned out the best players we could have in the side were all Wigan'ers then great but I'd rather that be a happy coincidence than assume we could just do it if you get my drift.

How silly of me not to realise it was me that was wrong all along.. I'm sure you will want the last word, but this is mine...
