Well, whenever I saw Obst play for wakey, he impressed me. Assuming age hasn't caught up with him, he'll go well for you.

My only reservation is that I think he's best at hooker, which I also think about Tommy L.

Let's not forget he played under Agar there.

When he signed for Hull, my first comment talking to a mate about it was that he's a poor man's Rob Burrow (or words to that effect :D ). But he's different from what we have, and someone I've always hated playing against as he's a slippery little bugger.

Plus, he's worth at least 20 penalties a season for 'high' tackles alone...
Great game of rugby league. Fantastic atmosphere, Wigan were breathtaking and dominant in all areas for the first 25 minutes, coupled with us making alot of dumb mistakes, then fortunately they brought McIlorum on which helped us back into the game. I thought some of the tries we scored to get us within two we're out of this world stuff. Towards the end we had to force it a little and we had a few things go wrong, i.e Monas kick on the first for King and Solomona going off who was causing havoc. Wigan were clinical in their eventual execution of us. Proud of Wire today and gave us a little glimpse to the future. Silverwood was awful as per, but I expect no less. Tomkins is a world class player and by far the best english player in SL. Wigan are a champion side and would be a worthy winner of taking our title as challenge cup. Good luck over the next month and a bit.
I got a txt last week asking if i had heard anything about Jamie Lyon to Wigan 99% someone just making stuff up cause i aint seen any mention of it anywhere

For me We should get that nice lump some from Joel go to Mark Gasnier and give him a very nice 'signing on fee' with low wages get him here for 2 years he's got no club so the cash would go straight to him

He's got no club because he's retired! After his stint in French RU I very much doubt he's strapped for cash so I can't see him being tempted out of retirement. I reckon that a few NRL clubs will have already tried and failed so what chance would we have of convincing him to cahnge his mind, up sticks and come here?

Can anyone think of a 20 year old kiwi centre? I've been told Lenegan is in talks with a player of that description and sadly also, the name of Lee Williams has popped up too, a 23 year old centre from Crusaders.
