There is disabled access to downstairs in Walkabout, if it was to be held upstairs and they'd not considered disabled access then it is yet another cock up on behalf of the people running the place.

I don't want to constantly whinge about the people running our club, as I believe they have the best intrests at heart, and the best philosophies to acheive those. However in the ptractical application they are beginning to be found wanting time and time again.

It is a bit of a stupid thing to overlook. The only way to get upstairs in Walkabout (without climbing the stairs) is the stock lift... and downstairs clearly isn't big enough and has a restricted view.

Wot a rubbish decision they know the last 2 sold out and this was always going to be in high demand for tickets. its like the bradford game all over again. i shall still be attending but not lining the yorkshire mans pocket.

However it does have tables, to eat off implying why there may have been restricted numbers of tickets. But given your other points regarding the suitability of down stairs, and if upstairs was open, then yes it is very stupid, like I suggested.

Some Salford fan said to me and I quote "You are by far and away the most Handsome & Knowledgeable Rugby League Fan in England!"

I thanked him and went on my Merry way!

You already have - your £4 will be paying for the venue and Whelan's pies. :)

Not strictly true!

I have paid my £4 to Wigan Rugby League.
If they choose to sub contract the catering and venue to Whomever that is their perogitive to do so with Wigan Rugby's money - It won't be mine!

If that was the case when Wigan Rugby paid the rent for the ground then we would all be putting money in Whelan's pocket wouldnt we??
NO, In fact we are paying Wigan Rugby our money and they are using Wigan Rugby's money to pay Whelan!
