Just out of interest, why does Wane think Wakefield need to go to London?

Because he's a fat idiot who's running out of excuses. Probably.

SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS

For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.

For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.

Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row

One thing I should have added. In all the gloom and despair Josh Charnley is deserving of some praise for the way he chased back from the opposite side of the field and held up a Wakefield player late on in the game. It would have been so easy for him to give up. Sadly his team mates let him down as Wakefield moved the ball to their right and scored from where Charnley had come from.

The Aussie Legend!!!

Wakefield have looked a good team for a while, Brian Smith got them in great physical condition before leaving.

Putting them up against a team with a bug going through the camp wasn't going to end well.

On Thursday evening Wane said "illness will not be a factor"
and
"there will be no excuses from us being lethargic on Sunday"
and
"We’ll be fit and ready and really challenging Wakefield"

He is indeed deserving of praise but not perhaps for the ball he appeared to dive for,missed/ball boobled over him from which the Cowboys, sorry Wakefield (it was hard to tell at that point) scored, summed the day up i suppose.

If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.

And if he had said, "i have lots of players ill" he would have been accused of making his excuses early.... Can't win can he..

Whatever he said would not have changed the outcome, so why didn't he show a bit of style and simply say well done Wakefield and move on.
There's a few other teams in SL with as many if not more injuries and for a longer period as well, have just got on with the job in hand without having to make excuses by way of a video highlighting your deficiencies under the guise of excuses.

I'm pretty sure he does it just to give people on fans forums, who feel they have some supposed moral high ground something to whine about....

As someone who has watched every team that Wane has coached from U16's/U18's/ reserves to first team I can honestly say that yesterday was the most unlike Wane team performance I have ever seen. I don't think I've ever seen one of his teams "throw the towel in" before.

I'd argue that we did at Cas away and Catalans away last year, and Liam Farrell admitted they did during the WCS game this year.

What would have happened had Wigan refused to field a team based on medical reasons?

Has this happened before?

From the interview with Radlinski it seems we had plenty of evidence to show that players and staff were suffering from a virus, surely there is an argument to say that playing on with a virus would actually cause more damage to the health of the players?

Are there any benefits of fielding a team in these circumstances?
