Its about balancing the numbers and keeping hankinson on less money as cover with the option of French playing wing also they feel the money could be spent elsewhere on a Bateman. Losing escare,burgess, flower to fund bateman is fine by me.

Salford have signed Kallum Watkins on a 3 year deal. If there is one coach in this league capable of getting somebody back to their best then it's Watson. That could turn out to be the shrewdest signing of the league. Anywhere else i don't think Watkins works, but working with Watson and his success on the players he has brought back to life brings a different perspective on it all together.

The guy can barely run. Just like it was common knowledge to everyone about Burgess, the same can be said about Watkins

If Watson is so good why has none of the bigger clubs secured his services and why are Salford not among the top teams?

No one from Wigan actually did any due diligence and instead just threw money at what can be described as the most embarassing SL signing ever after David vaeliki

The only time you have ever said anything worth commenting on and for the first time on this forum you are correct. There has been some bad, bad decisions leading up to this signing.

Vaealiki will always be fondly remembered in these parts for going the length of the field against Saints, turning Wellens inside out and confirming Wellens's nickname for all time as "the slug".
