The play off semi final game at Central Park in 1996 One of the most open games of free flowing rugby you'll ever see.

Wigan won 42 - 36 with Shaun Edwards at his magical best scoring four tries.

It was then that you could also see that Bradford were building a very good team.

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

2007 playoffs: The come back of all come backs.

2000: Renouf makes the break in the last few seconds of the game to send Radlinski over, then Faz converts to win the game.

2000: Away at Bradford with the Cowie drop goal, just for comedy value :)

Those are my favourite games also. The play off game will never be done again and the Renouf try was superb and everyone was beeping their horns all around town. The Cowie drop goal was brilliant.

Was that the game where Robbie Paul through a punch at Shaun Edwards missed and hit an unexpecting Gary Connolly . Gary Conolly was at his best in that game.

I still remember Stevo "Renoufs run, Radlinskis try, Bradford ran out of numbers, but can he kick the goal!!"

Never get tired of watching that.

Was that the game when Connolly robbed the ball from McAvoy I think it was and strolled in under the sticks? I remember that very well.

'92 I think it was, at Burnden Park. One of the great Wigan performances of recent years IMO. Fairly sure Nobby was Bradford's hooker that day too?

Another favourite of mine, think it was our first meeting at JJB:

http://www.sportinglife.com/rugbyleague/reports2000/story_get.cgi?STORY_NAME=rleague/00/06/07/RUGBYL_Wigan.html

Over 17,000 on a Wednesday night, Bradford brought thousands too. Both teams packed with world class players, how times change :(

Nobby was hooker that day also captain i think

Biggest cheer of the game was when Gill scored for them

2001 Grand Final was a beauty!!!

No honestly, the 96 play off game was great. even though you lot won, it was a great night, and like someone else posted, it was probably that game that signalled the start of something special at bradford.

Also that season we beat Saints and Wigan at home in consecutive weeks. I remember after the first one a saints fan moaning that by beating them, all we were doing was handing the title to wigan. i told him that we would do the same to you, and for the first time in what seemed like years, we did....happy days.

Newsnight 13th May 2010: "With the role of Deputy Prime Minister a non-job. Has Nick Clegg gone from King Maker to tea maker????"

I kept the faith and I kept voting
Not for the iron fist but for the helping hand
For theirs is a land with a wall around it
And mine is a faith in my fellow man
Theirs is a land of hope and glory
Mine is the green field and the factory floor
Theirs are the skies all dark with bombers
And mine is the peace we knew
Between the wars
