But anyone could just call up with a made up rumour. For instance, I could ring up and say that Bobby Goulding will be the next coach of France, I mean, C'mon, who would believe that???

good point tho!! tbh im not sure if it was a caller or one of the panel.....perhaps someone else who listened could help me out.

Either way tho like I say the main worrying thing was that the whole panel gave it a great deal of credence and talked about it for a good few minutes.....like i said if it was just a loon i would expect them just to have dismissed it!!

He will more than likely be earning that kind of money at Wigan in 2-3 years time anyway and has the potential to retire a club legend in the distant future.

It's a load of rubbish the Northampton rumour. But I do know 2 super league sides are intrested in him.

If thats true id tell them where to go even if they offered a couple of hundred K!!!

They might be able to tempt sam but as we hold his contract we should take a zero tolerance policy on any union approaches and tell them to F off at all costs!!
