He's a "proper" centre in attack in as much that he runs good lines and knows how to put his winger away. Defensively, he's suspect, particularly this season.

If his defence can improve, I'd be in favour of a 12-month extension.

Newsnight 13th May 2010: "With the role of Deputy Prime Minister a non-job. Has Nick Clegg gone from King Maker to tea maker????"

I kept the faith and I kept voting
Not for the iron fist but for the helping hand
For theirs is a land with a wall around it
And mine is a faith in my fellow man
Theirs is a land of hope and glory
Mine is the green field and the factory floor
Theirs are the skies all dark with bombers
And mine is the peace we knew
Between the wars

Good with ball in hand but poor positionally and with his tackling technique IMO.

But for the money paid he has been good.

He has missed a large amount of tackles this season with only Leuluai and Smith I believe doing worse.

He can be caught out of position when defending because he comes inside a lot and leaves his wingman exposed - and it's not always necessary IMO

I don't think he has been a bad signing for us but he isn't infallible, nobody is and making the dream team in 2008 doesn't detract from the facts at hand and is usually made up of players who look dangerous when in attack, which he does.

You never see a MOTM being a solid, defensive player - it's too unfashionable

I agree with you in regards to positioning. A good example of this was Donalds try on Friday night, the one Ainscough missed. Carmont was up far to much and thats how the kick was put in.

Steady player in real terms, showing the lack of quality centres that there are in SL.

Prone to the odd poor game but generally solid. 5 years ago would not be classed as a top centre in SL, on the standard of today sadly is.
