There seems to be 2 camps regards Noble the performance camp, which i am in and who criticise Noble and the results camp where most of the Noble supporters stand.

At the moment not sure how the results camp can have a leg to stand on, other than to hang on to the frail hope we win a few play off games and still in real terms are no closer to winning anything for another year.

Hmm maybe you are right, not sure if Robbo was off then.

They didn't have to get the ball to the wings because they were winning for most of the game so all they had to do was concerntrate on winning the forward battle (which they did comfortably)

Why you making this out to be an argument between the pro Nobby and anti Nobby brigade. I'm just calling it as I see it.

People are saying our tactics were inferior but Huddersfield used pretty much the same tactics. I'd say we were dominant for most of the game in terms of field position but a couple of bad decision making from individuals cost as try scoring opportunitites.

If Richards kicks his kicks we're 12-10 up and would probably see out the game. It was a fine margin between victory and defeat tonight. It was nowhere near like the humiliation of last year and the scoreline flatters them IMO.

I've seen them bomb a quarter final, bottle a semi final, finish as league leaders, but I've still, never, seen the Wire win the league
Doom and gloom, doom and gloom

'Do you remember when we had that meeting in Orlando? We talked about how we were knocked out the previous year by Leeds. And at the end, I asked you one question. "Do you want to be a semi-final team? Or do you want to do something special?" You all said you wanted to win. But talking is easy – it needed you to believe. It needed you to work hard – harder than you had – and make sacrifices. You did all that. you worked for each other. You stuck together when it was tough. And because of your efforts, you sit here tonight as champions. I'm proud of you. Be proud of yourselves. You've done something special.'

Shaun Wane's post-Grand Final speech. 5th October 2013.

I cannot comment of the style, just from the analysis offered. The difference is it sounds like they did it better, slicker and took there chances whereas we for much of the game dominated but failed to take ours due to being clueless in attack.

Sound Like Brown picked the tactits to win as they have been far from a dull side to date, yet Noble went with the same old tried tested and failed.

To  laugh at the tactics employed by Brown which was a change from his style and try to justify Wigan's who can only play against a team that has the same crap defensive pattern as us does not hold water, and that is why I am critical, Sounds like and i have to say sounds like....same crap different week, whereas Hudds changed there tactics to winning ones.

The  wasn't at Brown's tactics it was at your hypocrisy. You consistently bleat about how you're more interested in exciting rugby than results but that was some dull rugby on display tonight from Huddersfield.

FWIW I applaud his tactics tonight. IMO you do whatever it takes to win.

The crowds are dropping, the structure of the team is a Pathetic shambles and yet Noble & Cowardly lion Fielden are on top whack, the only mugs are the ones turning up every week.. :(

No i do not, i "bleat" about performance. There is a major difference, something that you clearly cannot grasp.
