Slightly off topic but there are pictures in the papers of one of the lads from One Direction (not my musical cup of tea I hasten to add) in a Roosters jersey, apparently he tweeted or whatever you call it, the image of himself at the Grand Final to his 14 million followers !!!
God, what the game over here could do with that kind of good publicity !!

Gutted its in Australia, no way can I afford that. Will have to just hope for a lottery win between now and christmas.

Its great that's down here in Sydney next year, even better that both my teams are in it. Had a great day yesterday getting up early to watch Wigan win and then watching the Roosters win at ANZ last night. Cant believe I saw both my teams won their grand finals. Should be an interesting WCC, although not sure who I want to win.

I hope lots of Wiganers come down for it.

Leeds pushed for the game to be played on these shores while big-city clubs such as Brisbane and Melbourne were the NRL teams seen as being capable of turning a profit. South Sydney were going to take the game to Perth. And the exchange rate has dropped since the decision was made. Perhaps this could be the year we get the mythical neutral venue in the Middle East or Asia. But DW Stadium, Wigan, must be firming.

Would be an experience if it is played in Oz though.
