Enjoyed that more that I thought I would. London gave it a decent crack. Shame we didn’t score off that move just before half time - would have been a try of the season contender.
One thing that’s annoyed me recently - why do always resort to that “na na na na - you’re s**t” song. Just classless and at odds with everything else about the club at the moment. Particularly on nights like tonight where the oppo have put a lot of effort in.
Totally agree. I thought they gave it a good go and the result was slightly flattering. Thought their 3 gave us a few problems and he looked pretty capable.

I don’t mind the chant, just leave the you’re s*** bit out. That bit has no class.
I think chants should be to get behind the team, not to degrade the opponents. Leave the low level stuff to the likes of Warrington.
The origins of that didn’t have that the “you’re ****” bit in it.
Used to be great.
From memory it was Wire away in about 2012, we were getting battered so our end were just chanting that song for about 10 mins none stop. The Wire fans added the “youre ***” bit which was funny to be fair
That seemed to catch on and a lot of people won’t remember the original.
Decent performance overall - although our right side defense looks a bit suspect at times, some improvement needed there against better teams - London borke down that side three or four times. We looked a bit disconnected at times on that side.
Farrimond was impressive on his home debut , looked like he was blowing quite a bit at the end, but fair dos - 7 is a very difficult position to start as a young player given how much it is a fulcrum of the team and he can kick goals as well which is another bonus.Hampshire improved a bit on recent performances - seemed more steady.
We are fortunate to have so many young players to call on, we could rest several players and still put out a strong side.

At one point I looked on the picture and saw Byrne Havard Hill O’Neill Junior and Eckerlsey all stood along the line from each other, it struck me the size of these lads.
We are a giant team now, even the young academy graduates look huge.

Would be better if it went back to being wordless, and added a few more notes. Bl**dy Brigantes
