I'll be watching it. Tbh I watch as much NRL as I possibly can, the difference in quality is simply massive both on and off the field.

touched a nerve there. Can you post a link to these media reports that Bowen is retiring from the game, or is it unsubstantiated rubbish like you usually post? Also, I thought Wane was going to New Zealand, Josh Hodgson was signing for us, Hansen was leaving and Briscoe was off to Salford?

So, not posted for a while and seen a load of people apparently coming and going. Looks to me that Wigan are again punching below their weight when in the market for new talent.

If Sam is off and we replace short term with Bowen I would say with the youth that will learn from him that we have done as well as we can, if however this Hodgson rumour is right............oh dear oh dear.

In the main with the side as it appears to be coming together the best we can say is that it is youthful.
We need a 5 and a 9. If we are getting Briscoe then OK but if we do he is not the typoe of winger we had in Pat. One of our stock moves of high ball wide to Pat to catch is far less effective without a tall winger. As for the hooker are we really going to run with MM and Logan?

There must be cap space and a load of it but at the moment unless IL is going to pull one out the bag we are going to be weaker than last year.

for the record I understand that we cannot have a 17 of world beaters and to that end I think Goulding at 3 and Thornley/Gelling at 4 is 'safe', no Renouf and Carmont but safe. Thornley I still think will become top class.
