I wouldn't bother personally, I'm not saying he's a poor player or anything but he's hardly a world beater. Would rather give Burgess/Manfredi a crack if Briscoe's a no-go

Strong rumours circulating that Brent Tate and Johnathan Thurston could be following Matt Bowen from the cowboys to Wigan as both are out of contract this year. Can't see thurston but maybe Tate?

So we are going to pay Thurston the same deal as he just signed with the Cowboys during the Summer. He is not OOC. And Tate signed an extension until 2014. Sad Boring day if people swallow that one.

Thurston absolutely no chance.

Tate would be a great signing at 31 he is still a top class centre and again would make sense as a short term 2 season signing. I seem to remember though he stated in the past he had no desire to leave the Southern Hemisphere due to his family etc.

Tate is also the kind of player that when he hangs his boots up would walk straight into a backroom job.
