A lot of mention about Matty Bowen playing his last game and the great reception he got from everyone there.
Didn't see any mention of him taking a job at the club as a member of their backroom staff which was and has been on offer for him. If he was taking that kind of job then his last game would have been the time to announce it surely?
Do we deduce from that then he is taking up an offer to continue playing from one of the overseas clubs he mentioned?

So, was he average at Wigan or was he a very good player who played well?
