Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid. Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal. Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.

Does anyone know what is Gaskells (Saints) contract situation?
Was talking to an amateur coach last year who mentioned that Gaskell wanted a pay increase and had been considering a move elsewhere for a better deal.
I read an article in the Times about him that quoted those stats. He looks small in comparrison to the players around him; but there are some big lads playing RU
ls Pat out of contract at the end of this season?, will he be leaving? if so i would like to see him replaced by Ah Van, the guy can kick goals and score tries he is a sizable bloke and also has a jazzy beard

why a bad joke? fair enough his defence may be not that good, he kicked 87 goals, i would imagine it would have been more if Bradford had scored more tries, he made 316 tackles, 303 carries only 5 less than Pat, 47 tackle busts 23 more than Pat, he might have come up with a lot of handling errors and a few missed tackles, but surely that can be put right under a quality coach, he gave away a few penaltys but Hock does this as well and nothing hardly gets said, the days have gone were we can afford such class players Offiah, Robinson, Dallas etc, with the right coaching Ah Van could be a very good player, look at our signings for this year, how many have been proved wrong since the pre season so far.

Sure I read that he volunteered to kick last year because Bradford didnt have any other kickers, if you gave Karl Pryce a chance this guy surely gets a chance.

I'd rather replace Pat (who is only out of contract at the end of 2013) with Matty Russell or Ryan King than a fat, lazy, over rated poundland Lesley vainakolo thanks.
You have gotta be a trolling saints or wire fan? Everything you post is a complete joke.

Don't read too much into those statistics.
He made less carries than Pat despite playing 7 games more, missed 53 tackles (1 for every 6 he managed to make), made 18 less clean breaks and is far too error prone.
