He does have real promise and was towards the end of the season a regular in Huddersfield’s side. That being said I’m not sure he is ready or developed enough for the pressure of being a starting half at Wigan, something which is vastly underestimated IMO. Having 2 young inexperienced halves is a huge gamble and one too far for me.

For me I’d be targeting Jordan Abdul. He’s a big unit, good hands and would do very well at Wigan. He might now cost a little more than he would have done given his England call up but it would be a fine investment IMO.

Hull should have got rid of Sneyd at least two seasons ago. Not sure why some of their fans idolise him the way they do.

I wouldn’t disagree with you in that 2 inexperienced would probably be too big a gamble.

I’d love Abdul to be in our squad however, I don’t think that there would be anyway the HKR would let him go. He’d certainly give a different dimension to our attack

Kibula or Bullock?

Kibula i believe has been moved on (now at Bradford) and Bullock didnt kick on at Wigan (also 28 years old so not really up and coming now is he)

The sad thing is that Peet will more or less have the same squad to coach as Lam!

And Peet will be more successful with the same players. I am confident that he knows what position each player plays in unlike Lam who kept picking players in the wrong positions?

How will that be when he will have at least four new players with maybe another two coming in?

Would need to be sat in his living room to be sat near him??

I'll admit that, when it comes to Pryce, I've only seen a handful of games. I'm not talking him up to be a superstar, but I've been impressed with what I've seen so far. He's not ready for Wigan and pairing him with Smith now would be a mistake. Hopefully he continues to develop at Hudds and we can pick him up at 21/22. Smith will be a few years older then and it might work. Not a given by any means tho.

FWIW i'd be happy to take a punt on the lad & a punt on the Bradford lad too. We've seen plenty of success when it comes to signing younger talent from SL - Bateman and KPP are the ones that spring to mind & I'd chuck Bibby & Sarge in there too.

Like another poster has said I don't think there's loads of available talent from the NRL. Albert Kelly is still knocking around Brisbane. Penrith have just signed a journeyman guy in Sean O'Sullivan. If I'd take a punt on anyone from the NRL it would be Lachlan Timms, but he's a prop. I just don't understand why no one from SL hasn't gambled on him? He regularly tops the contact meter charts for the reserves leagues, but hasn't made his NRL debut yet.

Maybe I’m getting carried away but I do talk Pryce up as a superstar in the making. I actually think he’d thrive on the pressure of playing for a club like Wigan. In the best possible way he looks a cocky so and so and like somebody who thinks he can be the best player on the field whenever he steps on it and whoever the opposition may be.

I think he’ll do another year or two at Huddersfield and then head down under. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if he makes the World Cup squad.

Honestly he will be NRL bound if he continues to progress in my opinion at least

You may be right but I think you may be getting ahead of yourself. One swallow doesn't make a summer.
