His 2021/2022 form (as evidenced in the WC) was also very good he was just in a woeful club side. So Williams has been in pretty good nick for quite a while now.

Agree!

No surprise that Williams was holding his own at Canberra despite being bored with the place itself (endless coffee shops apparently).

I’ve genuinely always liked him as a player and he’s taken the best offer he could get at Warrington.

Williams is a top player, Wigan's loss was Wire's gain.

For me having drinkwater alongside him has allowed him to show his true form,that and having a huge pack in front of him good move to get him signed up again.

Will there be a return to the NRL clause included? Its a a good move for Wire, sign up the inform SL player of the moment current international and have a bargaining chip should the NRL come sniffing around.

It's as sure as night follows day with George that, a year or so after signing a new contract, he'll start looking elsewhere.
