Had a great year prior to last night but Williams was poor last night. One gaping hole in his skillset has always been an effective long kicking game.

So we've no quota spots left and we've lost two English players for the season and the extent of Singleton's injury is unknown. A couple of quota players are now starting to make a case for us retaining them next year, although I imagine decisions may already have been made on that to facilitate recruitment. Bit quota aside, any English or French players that may be worthwhile/viable targets for either this year or next?

I think this might be the reason Miski doesn’t get retained, Mago I think is a deffo goner and then maybe Cust will go if he can’t get back into the side (I’m certainly not writing him off like a lot seem to be). We are likely going to need 1/2 props and 1/2 second rowers dependant on where Hill and Nsemba are at the end of the season and I would certainly want at least one top second rower which looking at the market will have to be a quota player.

Yes. Trout and Ashworth at the Giants. They won’t be on mega money but could do a good job.

We are looking to recruit two props and a second row for 2024. Mago and Singo will not be retained.
