(I asked a few weeks ago if anyone knew the situation regarding Darrell Goulding being out of contract.)

Has there been any rumour or news on him recently? I'm still baffled that he's listed on VT as out of contract.

The club don't really seem to be making a big song and dance about announcing our contract renewals/extensions lately. I'd be 99.99% certain that Goulding is tied up for at least next season though.

Briers has announced his retirement from the game and Warrington club have confirmed it.
Big loss for Wire losing him and Morley at the same time.
Warrington were never as good without them on the field as they were when they were out there.
So, Myler at 7, Ratchford to 6 with Russell to full back?
What's happened to Hodgson a well, anyone heard anything as to his club next year? Wire or elsewhere?

No disrespect to Adrian Morley who has had a great career but I thought he was way past his best for Warrington last year - you only have to see his defence in the Grand Final to realise that.

Whilst Briers too has been a great leader for Warrington I think its the right time for him to step down and make way for Ratchford.

Be interesting to see if the transition goes as smoothly as when Green & Smith came in for Wigan.

I have recently heard rumblings of Blake Ferguson having signed for us to cover our wing position, any truth in this?

As far as i was aware, i thought he had dropped rugby and had began pursuing a boxing career?
However if this is the case and we have signed Ferguson, that would be a huge acquisition, certainly filling the wing spot adequately, maybe even kicking?
Although it would come at a risk with his apparent attitude...

A risk well worth taking for me! The lad is really exciting and can play full back, wing or centre to a very good standard. I've not heard the rumour before but I do like the sound of it. I'd thrown him straight in at centre and put Thornley on Pats wing. Look on the usual video site for Blake Ferguson - Something to prove.

I would literally soil myself if we signed Blake Furguson, he would be by far the best centre in the competition.

Sadly like the Hardaker rumour I doubt anything will come of it.
